Being an active member of the 129 site, I can only quess that the 230 guys might not be "real car guys" NOT meaning that in a bad way, just saying that more 230 guys would just take it to a Dealer and say, JUST FIX IT!!!! I know that a lot of the 129 guys do a lot of their own work. Its funny this should come up, In My part of the Country, 129's and 230's are quite rare, The other day I ran into a 230 guy from away, I asked him about his car and all I got in return was a VERY DUMB look and a response of "It's OK" My personal opinion was one of " Its JUST a CAR, Who really cares" Now I KNOW,YES, I KNOW if it had been a 129 guy we could have had a nice conversation, Oh well, theres one in every crowd.
This is an interesting post, I have been looking at an 05 or 06 and was checking out the scene here but I like to modify my car like ECU, intake, wheels lowering and wanted some ideas

yeah both were SL55s, im a little nervous thpugh because of reliability issues i have heard but then again i hear a lot of owners have no issues, I guess a long extended comprehensive warranty should be in order
