Automatically Locking Compartments in SL500

I drive my 2005 SL500 just once a week (since I purchased it in August 2004). I drive it to "recharge" the battery which powers the drop-down steering wheel, etc. During this week, I noticed that the rear compartments and glovebox were locked. Does anyone know how to unlock these covers?

use the actual metal key inside your key fob. it unlocks the glove box. when you unlock the glove box it will unlock the other compartments
