ok I really need some help on this one. my 96 sl500 continues to have a gas smell with no apparent leaks (nothing seen on floor) in the trunck and cabin. In the past 2 months I have replaced the gas cap, checked all the gas lines, dropped the tank and pressurized with no problems. Where can the odor be coming from. Even when the car is sitting when you get into it you can smell it. Please someone help!!!!!
