my dad almost bought and 06 with 30k miles sl 500 amg for 45k so id assume abou 15grand less in o3

sl 500 amg ??? you mean sl 500 or sl55 amg ???
and that seams a little low for an 06 sl anything.
find out if its sl55 or sl 500.

agreed...'06 SL500 and SL55 is much more than $45K given the miles of 30K

Whole sale , its a huge differnce, my car was 8 k but we can sell it for 20.

I've been to Manheim auctions. A friend of mine and I were operating a used car business for a time as a hobby. I bought my first R230 there.

I don't know the answer to the original poster's question, but I can say that it was my experience that remarkably, Manheim prices were only a small discount to what dealer's were selling Mercedes for on eBay. So eBay can give you an idea. Further, you can go to New Car Prices and Used Car Blue Book Values - Official Kelley Blue Book Site and see what dealers are paying for trade-ins. I would guess that the Manheim prices are about 10% higher.

I bought my 04 sl500 for around 43k or something.. including the manheim fees..

It had something around 65k miles too. I bought it last summer.
