Today in ALHAMBRA I saw a Diamond encrusted SL 500,just thought I would share, I was behind in traffic and managed to get a few good shots with my Blackberry,,it looks like a 10,000 karat diamond ring..it was not paint,it was actually diamonds covering the entire body of the car....It appears to have headed to Westside of Los Angeles area....this car was unbelievable---now I have seen it all
I don't know if I would transport a car worth that much on a flatbed...especially while transporting through some LA districts (no offense to our LA members meant). "Gone in sixty seconds"?
It can't be real diamonds. Does anyone have proof that they are? Because that would cost millions upon millions to make, and it would never be transported like that. Probably just crystal or glass.

Does not appear to be glass at all...High quality Cubic Zirconia maybe?..The lead car was was a Chyrsler 300 Wagon/Suv with at least 3 more Chrsyler suv/wagon following,,These Guys certainly were armed and quite frankly never ever judge a book by the cover but I am sure they would have welcomed some idiot trying to carjack so they could get some target practice....
here is a link I found on the car...I just can't believe it was transported just out in the open...even with fake diamonds they said the car would still be worth millions
they're cubic zaconians or however you spell that fake jewel, but yeah the car has been around for a while. before it use to be all chrome or chrome plated and then they added the fake jewels.
