COMAND Display Screen Protector

Yesterday I installed a transparent screen protector for the COMAND display.
I bought it last week off eBay-- it fits perfectly and there are no noticeable brightness or glare issues. Took about 5 minutes of repeated attempts to correctly align the plastic film along one edge of the display; the rest was quick and simple. Delivered cost was $16.50. If interested, just ask.

I agree it's a little pricey, but I believe it's reasonable.
I've seen the wife pushing all the buttons around the COMAND screen - while wearing various rings and bracelets, and I imagined how easily the screen could become scratched, let alone repeatedly smudged. So, I easily rationalized the cost of the screen protector versus the cost and time in repairing and/or frequently cleaning the display screen.
The shop is called screenpatronus, and they're located in PA.
Do a simple eBay search for Mercedes-Benz screen protector CLS55 ML500. Right after you buy it, the store will ask you to confirm your exact screen size for a perfect custom fit.
I'm completely satisfied with the product and vendor.

I use Glad Wrap to cover the entire interior of the car -- it's a snugger fit than the clear vinyl upholstery covers I use throughout the home.
