Need to decide 02' or 03' SL55? - Benzworld.org

I'm thinking of trading my 02' SL500 for SL55 and I'm wondering if there's any significant difference between the 02 and 03 models. Any thoughts?

Where are you from?

In the US, the R230 SL came out. There is a lot of differences between the SL R129 and R230.

I Europe the R230 appear in 2002 and also the SL55, there are post of that in the other forum.

Carlos is right. The SL R230 came to Europe in 2002.

So, there are 02', 03', 04' and 05' SLs in Euope.
I was wondering if there were any significant differences in 02' and 03' SLs.

Yes, there was a minor update in mid 2003 which included the new DVD COMMAND unit and changes to the interior lighting. However, it appears that most people prefer the pre-2003 SLs.

The dvd command start in europe in 2003? I did not know that?
