For me, it's simple. I see no point in considering an SL65 because I would rather buy an SLR. Also unless you're taking your car on a track every day, you will hardly notice the difference in day to day driving.
Read the article I posted in this forum earlier. After driving both I was swaying towards the 55, and reading that confirmed it for me.
just curious, why did you not include the SL 65 (Would it be cause its almost 100grand more?) in your decisions and discussions?
Also, what was the final clincher that made you hop into the SL 55 as your final choice?

[:o)][}:)][8)] You have the answer $100,000 more and when in that price range there are other cars to consider; Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lambo etc. I wanted another Mercedes and was not willing to jump to the next step and really go into the land of exotics.
