Took delivery on my SL55 (capri blue)...finally.

Worth the wait. I was worried about its weight and handling, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I went from a 996 C4 to this, and honestly it suits my driving better.

The power is an absolute blast! I get this stupid giggle going when you really push it.

Hope the rest of you waiting are up soon.

Did you pay over sticker for the sl55? Every dealer in NY wants 20-30k over the sticker price.

No, I paid sticker. I got on a list very early and was 3rd in line.

Can you describe what capri blue is like, I want to get a sl 55 in that color. is it more of a dark purple or a distinction of a dark blue and black. Please post some pics if youhave any

Buy the car somewhere else. Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin Mercedes dealers would take care of you, and your car will be broken in when you get home.
