Electric Seat Problem

Hi All,

i've had my slk350 '04 for a week now, and just run into a couple of problems

I had the easy-entry option working on the car, all of a sudden it's stopped functioning. I have gone into the convenience settings and set the easy-entry feature to on, with steer.col +seat, and also the key depenedent setting to on.

No change.

I am also thinking that manually setting the seat with the electronic controls is'nt working properly, though I could be wrong. I'm trying to move the back of the seat back, it moves about half and inch then moves the seat forward. It keeps doing this even though the back of the seat is about 4-5 inches away from the back of the cabin.

I'm struggling now to get a comfortable driving position.

Any help out there guys or is this a visit to the dealer?

cheers
Andy

If you lower the seat bottom all the way down, you can get the seat back to go back further. You can then raise the seat bottom to a higher position. Its counter-intuitive, I know.
