Thumbs down

Doesn't sound "normal" to me. I've never experienced that problem.

iirc: there is a specific TSB covering cold starts and should result in a flashing of your ECU.

My 2005 350 doesn't make any poping noise nor misfire when warming up. Deinitely take it to the dealer.

My 2006 SLK 350 still makes this beautiful V6 grumble every time I start it. No rough noises.

Same here - FYI, stay away from the '55's - the V8 rumble creates a desire to trade up...

I have an 08 SLK 280, and I get some studdering with cold start-up, but only lasts about 10 sec or so. No misfires or other noises. Just shakes the car a little. I think maybe the idle at start-up may be a little low. Shiny, do you have a link to the TSB?
