Wheel Opinions Needed

Guys,

My new 09 SLK 350 will arrive in about 3 weeks and I want to install some new shoes right away. I have narrowed it down to the Sevas R55 in 19" brushed with chrome lip. What are your opinions on these wheels, size, finish, fitment and ride? I also want to do a staggered config but not sure what the sizes should be. 19X8.5 19X9.5 ? Offset? I may leave this to the professionals...Does anyone have these on there ride and what tires do you recommend to preserve the smoothest ride possible. I don't think I will lower it right away but its coming.

WheelExecutives.com - Sevas Forged

Sorry for all the quesions but its pricey and I know you guys have some great suggestions and info before I purchase.

Great looking wheels. Nothing like a nice lip on wheels. Makes the wheel look more expensive and elegant. Most are expensive anyway. I think you'll be happy with the look of the wheels you've chosen. Go with 19x8.5" front and 19x9.5" rear. I'm a big fan of the Michelin P/S 2 tires. I like the tread design and some what smooth sidewall. Not a lot of fancy writing and design. They dress easily and look great with tire shine on them. No complaints with performance or ride.

I prefer the R66 or R77.

I don't like wheels with all of those screws around the perimeter. Too busy for my taste. My favorite SLK wheels are the ones that came with the 030 option on last years' SLK55.

These are TSW 19's. Best thing about them is that they are 3.5# lighter per wheel than the stock 18's. Very clean and very strong.

Yes, they are also great looking wheels and still considering them as well. Its a hard decision with all the wheel choices out there. I want to make sure I get a light but strong wheel. Unfortunately I heard today that Sevas wheels have had some issues with cracking and coming apart which is now scaring me. Have anyone had any issues with these wheels?

The car looks great! I'll take a look at this brand too. Now I'm starting to second guess myself.

What are the wheels on your car and are 19' wheels the right size for this car. I want to make sure I don't have any rubbing issues. They look great on your car. I would like to see more pics if they are out there.

Never had personal experience with them but I have heard/seen the same thing on several forums. However, I don't know if they've had any recent success or failure.

I think I'm going to look at the DCR forged wheels. I've heard good thing about these wheels and they are sharp also. Now I just need to find the best deal....
