sirius radio on 09s and maybe others! - Benzworld.org

those that have sirius radio and primarily in an 09, they did a channel update at 5 am today and everyone's mb sirius radio proceeded to keep rebooting no matter if nav, or phone or cd or radio was selected. took my car to service and they had that info. now they have to wait until sirius sends info to mb to update everyone's sirius. the dealer recoded my stuff so i could at least still use nav,radio, and tel and cd. don't know if it just affects mb. boy! r people gonna be pissed!

My 06 Sirius radio was OK as of 7AM PST

they said it should only affect 09s as the whole comand is brand new. did you notice if the channels updated?

On my 09 (without nav) the radio has worked fine all day. However, I did not try Sirius at all.

My 2006 updated without a problem today. If I had an '09 I'd be irritated since I listen to Sirius nonstop when driving.

update: just got back from dealer. they took me right in. incident happened 6/24 5 am (see 1st thread) on 6/25 at 145 am, sirius resent their update correcting the issue with 09/, and w211 08/and 07 command head units that caused them to constantly reboot or deny subscription to sirius.
