ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR SLK ENTHUSIASTS!!!

What an amazing day.....

14 SLK's participate...

Meeting in Campbell in 90's heat, but with nice shade available...

The drive over the Santa Cruz mountains, inching up to 105'F...

then before reaching the coast...rain and down to 61'F...

Sun and Rain in June!!! OK, very little rain, but varied weather...

Makes you wonder how the fires are affecting the weather...

...beyond the rare lightning setting more fires...

Great lunch in Carmel with 20 dining...

A GREAT TIME!

Hey Steve - As always, thanks for sharing your pics of what looked like a great drive in/around Carmel. Thanks, too, for exposing me to a new "Mercedes" song by Pebbles. To date, the only Mercedes-oriented song that I was aware of was the old Janis Joplin refrain that everyone has heard: "Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?" Always nice to get a little culture to boot on this forum. LOL.

The biggest "jealous-maker" beats me again

) Thanks for the shots again, Stephen. But I´m missing German music for a German car... Please have a look at Marius Müller Westerhagen "Sexy" or Herbert Grönemeyer "Flugzeuge im Bauch".

Last month we´ve been to the Trentino, northern Italy.

Last week the "Gallier" had been invited to Bremen, from the Mercedes Benz project group R172 to report from the wishes of SLK drivers, about our Club and the imagination of a SLK in our view. Now we know the look of the new SLK from 2011/2012!
