and they have three selections... (4500K, 6000K, 8000K) which one is the most "stock" looking?
I am shopping around for an SLK350... And I am deciding between two
almost identical looking SLK350's that have the same features I want EXCEPT one has XENON, and the other doesn't. BUT, there is almost a $3500 price difference! I am wondering if getting this kit will replicate the factory original XENON lights? If so, I will probably get the non-xenon slk350 and just install this kit?
Thoughts?
Thanks

4500K would be the most stock looking, as stock xenons are 4300K I believe. 6000K(what I have is very white, with a bluish tinge), while 8000k will have much more blue in it... 10000k and 12000k, you're heading to purple territory.
Factory xenons are great and if I could do it again, I would have ordered with the factory xenons. But since I realised after, I installed a 6000k HID kit and thats been satisfactory enough in my eyes.
When you put a HID kit, it's aimed ok? Why do factory HID kits always have auto levelers? It's really not needed?
It *is* needed (technically).
A HID kit retrofitted into a halogen housing is illegal. (Whether or not you get caught and it's enforced is another matter of course...)
EU vehicle law requires that a factory HID setup must have both auto-levelling equipment and headlamp cleaning system (e.g.: washers) due to the intensity of the light involved, as misaimed headlamps and/or dirty lens-covers increase glare to oncoming traffic.
For the US, I suspect that the washers aren't required, as I've seen several factory HID setups for the US that didn't have washers, but so far every HID factory setup for the US that I've seen have had auto-levelers.
