Thanks for sharing more pix. That red accent striping on the engine cover is pretty interesting. Matches your interior. Do you know whether all engine covers have that red accent stripe? I also like the subtlety of the turn signals on the back sides of the exterior mirrors. They may not be as visible as current models (because of the difference in size), but from a design standpoint, I would think that they'd look pretty sharp at night.
Thanks for the feedback. BTW, before other forum members chime in...you may want to indicate your location on your profile when you have a moment. The comments you receive on future posts will be more appropriate when people know what part of the world you reside in.
Again, "Congrats" on your purchase. If you're like the rest of us, your SLK will be "all consuming" in the months ahead. Enjoy!

Walrus - do you have memory seats? When my drivers seat is set in the 'Convenience' mode only the steering wheel moves away when I take the key out to get out of the car. My seat does NOT move back by itself like it did on my previous R171. Does your seat move back by itself?

I had a R171 before as well with the memory seats and it worked fine, and now on the new one it's the same thing as you mentionned, thought I didn't do something right, but it seems I'm not the only one...
