Hi eveyone last week i got a set of 8000k HID's put on my headlights, still debating what i am going to do about the fog light the the running lights, the guy tried to put like an led wedge bulb in the headlights but it would just go on and off every few seconds. and if you can recommend a 9006 bulb for my fogs that would be good also.
I was also told by the guy at the shop that they do this new thing where they take the tail lights off and the 3rd brake light and they paint them like a black but not that spray paint stuff it like professionaly painted becuase i saw one up close and it is very clean looking and it has a clear coat shine, I found these on ebay to give you guys a better idea

Just wondering if any of you have tried this or seen it becuase my 350 is black and it this it would give a nice dark look in the back.
There are definitely a few that have smoked their tails. Some really like it and some don't. I personally like the look as long as it isn't too black, maybe like a black cherry color.

I have the stock HIDs in my low beams, and 8000k in my fog lights. I love the look of 8000K. If you have the 8000k in low beams, might as well upgrade the fogs to match. it would look great.
As for your parking lights issue. You will need Load resistors for each of the bulbs to trick the system into thinking there are actual bulbs there if you plan to use LED bulbs. Your other option is to get a pair of PIAA bulbs and not have to deal with resistors for the wedge bulbs.
Personally i insalled white LED bulbs, but then one of them burned out. Since the resistors are still conneted, it does not give me a bulb out warning. So i just removed the other side, and to tell you the truth, i really like the look now WITHOUT the bulbs at all.
I am going to be tinting my tail lights by mid next week. Will be leaving the clear as is, and tinting the red down to about 35% so that its not too dark. This will be done at a pro paint shop. I'll post pics once they are ready

Please do. I've been thinking about doing mine for a while now. Maybe your pics will give me the courage to do it.

Where did you get your fog's? I've been meaning to asked but never got around to it? I hardly used my fogs now b/c of the mismatch color. A link would be nice? Maybe installations guides.
Blacked out taillights only looks good on dark color cars and never looks good with it all tinted. So leaving the clears unpainted is a smart thing to do IMO.
bmwnomore: Don't do it. I don't think it'll look as good on our iridium silver unless, you get a CF frontlip, black wheels, and dark window tint to match. But that just my opinion.

hey noregret4life may i ask you how much is the tinting going to be costing you and are you going to be doing the 3rd brake light? the guys were telling me 350$ and i dont know if thats good or not to me it sounds alittle high since in the past the cars i had i had gotten the whole front bumper painted for 350$ so i just wonder if these guys are looking at me like i am a sucker to pay this amount of money when like in the link i showed you guys they are selling the whole housing for 350 shipped compared to painting my factory housing.
noregret4life: do you have HIDs for your foglights? That, in combination with HID headlights will be a hell of a lot of light! AMaybe an overkill, but I have to admit the color difference between the HID headlights and halogen foglights is a little annoying.
Is HID foglight an easy installation? What brand did you use and how can it be purchased?
