*Warning OJWERKS is a thief, read thread*F.S: "SL" shorty antenna
Guys, ive been selling these for the R170s and the R171 uses the same mount and antenna style as I already tried it out with my cousins SLK55....... so if you are interested, let me know via PM, all the ones I had were sold in the R170 forum but I should be getting more soon, thaught I would give the R171 guys a heads up!
FOR THE NEWBIES: The "SL" Antenna will replace the stock Whip-Lash like rubber antenna and will screw-on and work like the stock one with no problems, it cost $100+ new from the dealer, and it dosnt not come in a color to match your stock rubber base.....
below is I picture of mine when I first got it, I had my bodyshop color match my base and antenna to the car. I believe this same setup is sold for $220+ from the dealer.
**The ones I will be selling are $40.00, and have been refinished in a black finish that is a 99% match-up to the stock rubber mount... it is up to you if you want to have the base and antenna color matched to the car**
I will have some available soon, so stay tuned and those who are decided to buy one when I get them in PM me.
Also, P.M for payment and shipping info and any other questions / concern you may have. Since these are so small, I rather deal with U.S buyers only...sorry.
My biggest concern would be less reception range for the Piecha vario roof module. That would almost negate the benefits of the module. Locking and unlocking as well as AM-FM (who still listens to that sorry sh!t) reception would also be reduced. I'll keep the factory antenna. I really like the look of the SL style antenna.
