Wow - thats a lot of money for two steering wheel buttons. You would really need to enjoy using them ALOT to get the value from that investment.

The paddle shifters for these cars are a factory option only. There is no possible way to add this option to your vehicle.

Here's a pdf that shows you how: http://www.mbslk.com/files/artikel/S...ippenumbau.pdf

Really interesting I suppose can be done even on my Ml 280 steering wheel, unfortunately no german skill, please help us

Corkscrew, he is talking about large silver "buttons" on the steering wheel to change the transmission gears, not leather things you hold in your hand!

Corkscrew,

Those are buttons. New vehicles come with paddles that are visible from the Driver's seat. Do a search, I'm sure you'll find what I'm talking about.

Saw this on ebay and wonder if this is a good option for getting paddles on your steering wheel? Can the dealer (or who ever doing the install) swap the air bag from the original steering wheel onto this one?
