Mercedes Benz Euro UHI Bluetooth Module with SAP tested in UK!!!

I got my hands on the European Bluetooth module for UHI telephone pre-wiring (option 386), with Sim Access Profile (MB Part number B6 787 5840). The actual module looks amazing an has a slot for a SIM card so it can be used as an independent car phone. Installation and pairing went without a hitch and took about 10 minutes. I have already tried it a few times and so far it works brilliantly. The only disadvantage I have seen so far is that it has to download the phonebook everytime it pairs with the phone, and this can sometimes take a bit too long. I will post pictures soon

Got from MB in Germany through a German friend for 396 Euros = £275. Real bargain considering that my dealer quoted me £353, wanted payment in advance and delivery was going to be mid July. Apparently they are in short supply even in Germany.

does the bluetooth module come with sim card slot ??

if is so . is mean that i can just put any sim card and use as independent car phone ??

Careful in Vancouver... factory equipment in N.A. is MHI, not UHI. Unless of course you're planning to have a Euro retrofit.
