Yesterday I dug up the SLK brochure and thumbed through it. After having the car for over half a year, I was amazed that there was not one overstatement in the brochure. This car is so enjoyable in so many ways, it never ceases to amaze me.
Slightly off topic, but I saw a pewter SLK this evening as I was crossing the street and it literally took my breath away.
Every day I love this car more. I can name 2 things at this point that I wish they'd have done better, but hell there are a thousand things that...well that was the 320SLK![:I]
Mine's Pewter and I never would have thought I'd have been interested in this color...
I would have had pewter.. But they had a black one I could drive away there and then.. so i drove it away there 'n then. ;) still thinking of trading in for pewter though. not that I don't think the black is awesome also.
I have the pewter with brown nappa leather interior and it looks awesome yet subdued. I did have to order mine and wait 12 weeks because of the interior (apparently the sales mangers that do the ordering seem to order the beige, gray, red and black interiors mainly).
