I keep my bow in the maximum raised position.
Hey Corkscrew - Just curious. What did you mean by this statement? [?]
I figured he was talking about his SL, which probably has ABC... where you can control ride height.

RE: Scratched... Now what?

Hey Bill - Thanks for the explanation. Didn't know the SL had that option. Would be nice to have that available on the SLK for us "older" drivers. [;)] I've got it on our Lexus and it helps with entry/exit of the vehicle.

For more info (from SL500 page of mbusa.com):

Quote:
Active Body Control (ABC) Standard ABC, an active suspension system, utilizes a coil spring and an electronically controlled hydraulic cylinder in series, plus a separate gas-pressurized shock absorber at each wheel. Using a total system pressure of up to 2,900 psi, ABC continually adjusts each wheel's suspension to counteract vibration, pitch, dive, squat and roll. ABC also provides automatic 4-wheel level control, driver-selectable ride height and automatic lowering at higher speeds. Driver-selectable Sport mode virtually eliminates body roll for even flatter cornering and sharper handling response.
