During the washing of my SLK I have notice some water pallets inside the driver side window. It's at the end of the door window (beginning of the small window. It's look like a bad sealing between the roof and the window. Does some one have the same problem and what did you do?
Coincidentally, gave mine a good washing today, lots of hosing down, and noticed water spots on both seats, a puddle on each side above the seat belt reels and also drips running down the rear vertical bulkhead. Wiped 'em all off and thought no more (till I read this)

Exactly the same here. Not too worried as it only seems to happen when washing the car and aiming the hose at the window. Wind and rain don't seem to be a problem, and we certainly get a lot of that where I live[:)]
If you aim a high pressure washer slightly upwards at the windows, water will go inside the cockpit. And it happens on most cars, more on convertibles due to the roof technology.

are you guys using high pressure washers by any chance?
Nope, normal hose with a (wince) Flash cleaning thingy on the end. Do spray it at the windows, don't take particular care not to hit the joins either - maybe I should but feel I shouldn't have to.
What is a flash cleaning thingy? Not familiar with this.
Its a hose attachment with a special shampoo reservoir for streak-free washing and drying. I think that they are only available in the UK at the mo although I could be wrong.
I've found that it is possible to get water into the SLK via a hose if you really want to or if you dont consider the way they are made, SLKs that is. Anything with a half decent amount of pressure, and certainly a pressure washer, will get beyond the seals, especially the windows. So, I've found it best to use a fine sprinkler attachment (a bit like a misting type), work from above like Shinigami says and be carefull with the pressure and direction.
If our cars keep out rain then thats all they are deigned to do I suppose.
This is not normal. In Germany you are only allowed to wash your car at car washes (unless you have an oil interceptor in your driverway). Accordingly the car is subject top fairly high prseeure water when washed.
I noticed water dribbling down where the seal at the top of the windscreen pillar meets drivers door glass. Also down the small rear side window. As it was only on the drivers side I thought something was wrong. Having done the factory tour thing I know that all cars are tested and only dispatched if they do not leak. It is a hard top after all (not fabric).
The German dealer was very good, washed the car to prove what I already knew and then replaced all the seals under warranty. So if it leaks, get the dealer to fix and do not be fobbed off!! The car remains dry whatever it is drenched in now.[:)]
