The bad news is that delivery isn't until end of May and Mercedes Swiss don't do factory customer collection [:(]
I did request the tyre sensor option but the sales guy practically begged me not to take it as they have been getting a constant stream of people coming back to complain about it. Apparently, just a slight pressure difference between the wheels sets it off.
One option I am not sure I did the right thing on was getting the ashtray. With the ashtray you get the socket at the front and a small drawer for change and without it you slightly bigger drawer and the socket in the passenger footwell. It just seemed to me that it makes more sense to have the socket at the front. Right?
If you double check with the dealer, you will find that with the ashtray option, you will be double blessed with two outlets, one in the passenger footwell and one in the ashtray. If you don't smoke, I'd recommend opting out on the ashtray and living with the footwell outlet only. How many things do you need to plug in simultaneously anyway? Besides, the ashtray, which I have, is so small as to be useless, even for loose change. [:D]

Europeans beware, this is only true for certain markets, namely North America.
In Germany and UK you only ever get one power outlet!
I was also told by the MB dealers here that factory pickup is not an option, but honestly, I think it's just lies. After I asked my dealer enough about this, they admitted it was possible, but required quite a lot of hassle with the insurance companies and so on... it's all about politics due to Swiss laws.
