Although a lot of people find yellow vulgar on MB, I happen to love the color. I used to own bright yellow mini cooper. Long time ago, I saw a yellow SL sitting on a dealer parking lot and I thought it was the most beautiful car ever.

If I had a choice, I would have seriously considered yellow for my '55.[:D]

Yellow would be vulgar on a C, E or S but on a roadster it's sharp. I see a fair number of Corvettes in yellow.

Colour is a matter of personal taste of course. Personally, I do love the colour yellow but I am not sure I should buy a yellow car (although a small sportscar such as the SLK looks quite stunning in that colour). The reason I have some reservations is that I am afraid I might get tired of such a flashy colour in the long run (you may not know it, but I kept my last car for 17 years!!!). But if you love a yellow car, you did make the right choice. Enjoy your baby and don't worry about what other people think! [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] (See, the smiling faces are yellow!!!)

In 2001 I almost bought a S2000 in yellow. I really like the color on a small sports car despite all the banana, school bus, taxi, coward association jokes.
