Currently I'm looking at Kumho Ecsta MX for 235/35/19 and either Toyo T1-S or Falken FK-451 for 265/30/19. I'm looking for maximum dry grip short of race tires. Road noise is a relatively small factor. Anyone running the Pirelli Rossos, Michelin PS2's, Conti CSC2 Vmax's, Yoko AVS Sports, Toyo T1-S/T1-R, Falkens, Kumhos, or whatever else you run that have these sizes available comment on their performances? Any feedback is appreciated.
My choice will be PS2, in my opinion it is the best tire. (all my cars have this tire CL55, SLK350, E320cdi) I was many tires in my cars, for example Rossos it good tire but on wet road - [:(]
Conti is terrific on corners.. of course it is my personal feelings.
PS2 265/30 might rub, you might want to check before purchase. Probably the best tires but also the most expensive. Toyo's T1S are discontinued, although alot of tires stores still have them. They had been replaced by T1R's, they are great for the price, I haven't heard anything bad about them, 265 with fit w/o rolling fenders.

From what I understand, the PS2 would fit without rubbing. Of course, I can't speak from personal experience but have seen them on various vehicles and they appear to taper in at the edges. Maybe someone here can comment. Better yet, shoot an email to tirerack.

PS2 is not recommend, with the proper offset you might be able to get away with it, just barely. IIRC, Dan has 19" HRE's w/ PS2 w/o rubbing.
The guy from DCR (where I ordered my wheels) also ask me about what tires I will be using. I told him Nitto's and he said it'll work since Toyo's and Nitto's are pretty much the same. I assume he didn't recommend PS2's, b/c he said some tires doesn't work with the 265/30 setup w/o rolling your fenders.
