awww crap. Got the price for the AMG leather

Dealer called me and told me that the leather can only be ordered in bits of 5 square meters (so maybe 2x3 meters or something like that).

Since the price is 300chf per square meter, total price is 1500chf [B)]

Why'd it have to be so expensive... nevermind the fact that I only need a small, small portion of it, and I can't seem to find a leather shop anywhere with the exact same leather type and color >:(

FYI: 1500chf is about $1200. I'd like to add some leather to a few interior bits of my car, but at this price, it's not exactly a steal...

One would have to presume that the minimum size order has a lot to do with the size of a cow.[:D]

I was thinking that the piece of leather is basically the entire cow hide, painted in the particular color, and the entire surface are of this hide is 5meters square. I highly doubt the hide is entirely square or rectangular.

However, when you buy a piece of it, MB guarantees the size to cover 5 meters square exactly. Obviously smaller cows exist [;)]

Milton Keynes, if I'm not mistaken, is the city made entirely on a grid. Basically perfect angles, every street looks the same.

Apparently a very boring city from what I've heard.
