06 slk55amg, took ownership about a month ago. The engine is amazing and country driving has never been so exciting. Now, when the speed limit is 55 and the yellow signs ahead pay warning to slow to 20 or 25 for sharp turns, it's VROOM VROOM time!

oh, i almost forgot, if anyone wants the amg standard multispoke wheels for the 55, drop me a PM. My dealer said I should ebay them for $2500 but I'll definitely sell them for less to fellow R171'ers. Your discussions have been so helpful in the past year of waiting. And they do me no good sitting in boxes in my garage.
