Recommended tire pressure

I have Pirelli P Zero Rossas on a 06 SLK55. The recommended cold pressure on the placard on the drivers door differs to the one on the inside of the gas filler by 4 psi front and rear. Driver's door is 36/39 and the gas filler is 32/35 Which one should I go by?

RE: Recommended tire pressure

Wouldn't adjusting the tyre pressure to one considered more suitable, mess with the tyre pressure warning system (if fitted obviously)

i don't have the option, but according to the manual you can calibrate/reset it yourself if you change pressures etc.
