I had a cracking type noise in the rear when I went around a corner. This was now traced to a defective rear tie bar that moved in it's bushings. This took 3 days to discover and two previous trips to the dealer. I was to pick up the car but now they say that the front struts are to be replaced as well. Car will be there another 3 days. Hope you do not have this problem. They originaly thought the rear noises were coming from the roof and tried to lube that for a fix. Please have them check the rear tie bar if this does not work. Their comment was that "this has not happened before" maybe.

I get a knocking noise from the rear when going over bumps and round corners. Must take it Mercedes come time and see what they say. Sounds like the boot is loose or something

Check on the rear anti-roll bar. That was what was causing my problems. The car was unloaded when going around corners. RH
