As the specification of the R171 varies from Country to Country (and model year to model year!) it helps us to help you better and provide more relevant answers to any questions that you may have.

So to members new and old, please consider adding your location to your profile if you have not already done so.
(its easy, simply click on Profile/Preferences link in the top right)

Less important, but more fun, is to add your existance to our group's frappr map. (thanks to SLK-Gill for bringing it to my attention). It is located here...

in the Name field add your Benzworld User ID
in the City field add your City! or if in the US its a ZipCode field!
in the Shoutout field add your vehicle type(s)

no other info is required!
and i've made it so that this is NOT a public map!

http://www.frappr.com/ is a site which is designed to show graphically where things / people are located.

It is based on Google Maps and seems to work quite well.
Pictures can also be added.......

Might be useful here if enough are interested.

How is it not a public map? Do you preload all the benzworld signons? I just went straight in from the link.

Also, what are the tags for and how do you use them?

How public are these Frapprs?
If you don't enable the "Add to Frappr's Public Directory" checkbox, the Frappr doesn't show up in "Browse Other Groups" and it isn't searchable. No one can view the map unless they know the url or Frappr name.

TAGS: simply click on the relevant tag, if there's another public map with the same tag it'll display it. Useful for finding other likeminded individuals/groups!

OK, I've registered (I'm in Bangkok). How do I reach the map from the Benzworld main menu?
