I am going to wait at the moment and see if Frank has any luck. He is going to try (and i have already tried but with no luck) and get a photo/instructions for the roof modules to prove they exist and the tracking numbers for the "missing parcels".
Frank: My order # is JW802310000020 entered October last year for the r171 remote module. Last email was June 03, 2005 which said it was shipped with the discaimer which says it wasn't. J Watters
Not sure when it happened, but I noticed today that if you click on the shop button at R171.co.uk it takes you to http://www.l-c-t.com where you are told that R171 will soon be under new management and all orders will be fulfilled soo. Then if you click on SLK171 you can see that they have the 2005 modules in stock, but are waiting for the more expensive 2006 modules which are built to order....
If it was me I would be onto the credit card companies PDQ and get my money back.
I can't elieve there will be a roof module from these guys.

the customer with the order number you have provided is in direct contact with us already - he has received numerous other deliveries and they have always been in time and to his full satisfaction! Esp. this customer HAS NO REASON to believe that he won't get his item - he did business with us before and while he was pre-ordering the roof module.
I suggest just reverting the charge while you still can. I replied still asking for pictures at least.

The guys did a lot of testing this weekend and they've successfully adopted
to the current 2006 model. They'll have a 2005 model available this weekend
to verify that it works there as well. We expect to ship somewhere next week
(if the tests with the 2005 model are possible/successful). As promised,
you'll be updated as soon as we have news.

Mine's a 2006 model anyway (as they shoudl know form the chassis number i gave them) so i don't see why they can;t send them out if they really have them
Even if they start shipping them, I think I will be a little concerned about placing an order... hopefully you guys will get the vario mod and it will be awesome... no problems!
