Got 28 mpg today the best I have had in my 350 speeds 75/80 mph has anyone got better, mine is usually 22 mpg or less.

Regularly get 28 to 30. Merthyr to Cardiff on the A470. Very light footed at 65/70 mph. Average according to trip computer is 27.4 over the last 5000 miles[:)]

when I drive sanely, I have gotten about 26MPG, but I tend to jackrabbit start and run out the gears lately. That gets me about 19 to 20

They are speaking in Imperial gallons so you can't compare (or compete) [;)]

My average according to the computer is 21mpg. It has been down to about 15mpg for London driving. Ouch!

I actually average about 19-20mpg every day. Once though when I really tried to be light-footed (and forced by traffic to stay at 65mph) from San Francisco to Los Angeles (400 miles), I got 28.5mpg. I actually put it in neutral (since I have 6MT) going down the hills so I think that really helped.

Imperial to US gallons are approx +20% (20 oz pints vs. 16 oz). So 28mpg is 22 & change in the US.

Why can't we have imperial gallons in the US? We'd be getting like 35mpg!

My average since start (3700miles) is 25.3, my best was 32 on a 50 mile motorway journey averaging between 65 and 75.

The worst mpg seems to be between 40 and 60 at constant speeds.

I have found something iritating with the average screen. It remembers times the car has been at rest. For example. A return journey took 4 hours, so it said. The actual journey was 30 mins each way with a stopover of 3 hours in between !
