I was at the Monaco Grand Prix at the weekend, and some of the cars were just amazing!!! The usual collection of red ferraris of course!! I saw 4 SLK's, 2 navy, one black and 1 pewter. I'm sure it was no-one from our forum??
The one car that did make my legs go weak though, was ............ an SLR!!! Oh my God, I have never seen one before, and NOTHING prepares you for what this looks like in the flesh - it was GORGEOUS!!! I took lots of pics which I shall post soon. I'm sure you shall all be interestd to see them!!
Ooooooh yes, safety car was gorgeous, of course!!!! Got to see lots of it too, as it had to do a few laps after the scuffle involving David Coulthard, Michael and the others. Nicest car on the track!

The current model of safety car is an SLK 55 AMG, with a slightly modified engine (367 bhp) over road-going specs. It's also been modified to improve braking capability and reduce weight. (That's probably why the car had no foglights. Also, I didn't notice that nasty little antenna either - which must be a big weight saver!)
Sorry guys, my one pic of the safety car is crap, and I can't see the foglights, but I am sure you wont be disappointed with the pics of the SLR!!! I have never posted pics before, so hopefully this shall work.......
