Picked up the rubber floor mats today. Pleasantly surprised to learn that these mats include the two snap buttons to hold them in place just like the summer mats.
Also, the local dealer had just set up a SLK display in the showroom to display just about all the SLK accessories (chrome grill fins, wheels, luggage, etc.)
When I saw that the all season floor mats were fitted with the plastic snaps I was expecting a perfect fit. It turns out that the snaps are not installed in the correct location. Also, the pattern is not the same as it is for the stock floor mats. I will post some photos before returning them to the local dealer. Very disappointed. They must be delegating more and more of the design work to the same folks responsible for all the mistakes on the www.mbusa.com site.
Looks like I have to find a suitable aftermarket set of mats.
The all season mats are definitely different than the standard mats. The snaps are in a different location on each mat type. The passenger side upper right corner does not fit very well. The trailing edge of the all season rubber mats leaves about two inches more of the carpeting beneath the edge of the front seat unprotected. Having said all of that, I am still undecided as to which set of mats doesn't fit quite right.
I complained to the dealer, and they will accept a return of the mats. But, I will probably end up trimming the top right corner on the passenger side mat and keep them for the Winter months.
First photo shows the left rear corner of the driver side mat. Second photo shows the left front edge of the driver side mat. Note that the all season mat also covers the dead pedal area.
The packaging hanger is definitely labeled "SLK-Class (R171)". But, there are no part numbers on the actual mats. I suppose they could be mislabeled. Has anyone else purchased the all season mats?

Are you sure the mats are for the SLK ? They aren't trying to sell you CLK mats to go into your SLK ? They look suspiciously like my old CLK mats....
