Hi, new to these forums, but not to turbocharging :)
Anyway, my question is:
Did the 2001 Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor come with an air-to-air intercooler (which is what's stock on almost all turbocharged car) or an air-to-water intercooler?
The reason I ask is because I saw one on ebay in nice shape for a decent price, and it looks like it'd fit perfectly for my custom turbocharging project (of a 1995 Nissan 240sx). An air-to-air would be easy to plumb and is what I'm used to dealing with; a water-to-air would be quite different. If it is a water-to-air, where does the water come from? I'm assuming it comes from an auxillary part of the main cooling system...
