I just spent all night at the local MB dealer trying to decide how to purchase my new SLK32 AMG. It was all dependent on the new redesigned SLK. Decided I'd buy this SLK, then sell it when the redesign comes out in 2006. I knew that I wanted it, until I visited this site. I guess I should say thanks for letting me see the travesty that is the nose of this new vehicle. I will never own this vehicle. Thanks again for all of your knowledge. Thanks for shattering my 'dream car'.
I just looked at the photos and I agree. That has to be one of the ugliest cars I've seen in the past few years. <br> <br> I just bought a 230 and I have a feeling I'm going to have it for quite a while.

What is happening with the new models, first the 7 series BMW and now the perspective of the ugliest car to bear the SLK badge. <br> <br> The new SLK will stand for Some Large Krap (o.k., it sounds like German)<br> <br> I think some old GM disgruntled designers who worked in the GM Aztec got fired from their jobs and applied at MB and BMW.<br> <br> Well, on the brighter side the acual SLK model might be different from the proto-craps we are seeing.<br> <br> Serge
There are no official pictures of the upcoming SLK R171. Only computer generated images of how people think it will look...<br> <br> I doubt it will look like the generated pictures..<br>
I have seen spy pics of this new redesign. Even with the mask on the front, and all of the diagnostic sensors, you can still see the ugly ass nose on the front. Friends at my local dealer say that it is supposed to resemble a formula one car. Looks more like number two to me!!!
