OT: Mustang mods

A friend of mine here at work recently went crazy with some of his mustang mods. He posted the pics on the mustang forum and got various (some humorous) reactions. Another friend here posted them on the S2k forum with similar reactions. I figured I'd do the same.

It's a bit over the top IMHO, but it makes him happy so that's all that matters.

That's a very cool looking Mustang. Mustangs are ideal for modding, the parts are available and reasonable and there's a big following. Can't wait to see the new one next year. My only complain with the convertible is that it should have an automatic top cover like the CLK and BMW 3. It always looks sloppy to me to have the top folded up in the back uncovered and I know what a PITA it is to put the soft cover on.

Agreed.

A Mustang with some sort of auto-top system...I might not have bought an SLK.

This is for TK Doom and anyone else who's interested.

The owner of the car admits the doors aren't terribly practical but have a "high cool factor". Here's a link to the mustang forum he posted in and talks a little about them.

Cost is the main factor. An automatic cover would push it out of its price point. They need to sell quantity to make money.
