Poll: What's your longest distance drive with top down?

I just drove from Dallas to San Antonio this weekend. 300 miles, 65F, it was so good that I drove top down all the way.

800 miles

4 weeks ago I drove from Fayetteville, NC to Fort Myers, FL all top down in one day. I had some rain on the way, but never bad enough to put the top up.

About 700 miles from Flagstaff, AZ to TX/OK boarder (one way)

Then again for about 350 miles from Oklahoma City, OK to Lee's Summit, MO.

Brian, stop making me envious. People are asking me what's wrong with my liver, I'm so greenish.
I drove about 100 miles once. Portugal is a small country. But I too have driven in light rain with no problems. And I have driven in thick fog in the mountains.

About 1,500 miles, but it wasn't in my SLK

My brother and I drove my MGC from Springfield, MA to Kansas City. I'll be honest, we put the top up during the thunderstorm in Indiana, but the fact we drove non-stop should make up for that.

About 650 miles to Louisville, KY, to see the fireworks, Thunder over Louisville,...

a 30 ,inute finale, over 50,000 aerials in 30 minutes. The drive was great from SE PA. Stretches of road were I did 90-110 for an hour straight. Drove straight thru (with top down), about 11 hours straight. On the return trip, 2 days later, rain almost all the way, top was up.

I agree. Crazy feeling having the wipers on full blast, and no roof over your head!

About 130km from Toronto to Niagara on the Lake. Got caught in very heavy rain at times with the top down, but just kept on driving! Bikes and older convertibles were pulled over under bridges. It was so cool, only my hair got wet. I was getting the wierdest looks from everybody. At one point I drove by a tractor trailer, and my windsheild got splashed so bad that I couldn't see for a sec. or two, but I just passed him driving blind, and lived to tell the story!
