New K40 Relay

Well, I installed my new relay Friday and it cleared all the codes and caused the car to run really well, much better than it ever has power wise anyway. Now, the hood lift strut gave out with no warning...what next?

the hood strut is pricey $70-$80

Where did you get the K40 relay? Price? I just finish resoldering mine for the second time, the car runs a little hesitant when I turn it on for the first time and i have a wierd CEL so i was thinking about just changing it out.

Thanks for listing links, the Stealer quoted me $130 for a new one so I will definitely go aftermarket.

I got a brand new K40 through the stealer because I cannot solder worth a damn so I paid $180 shipped to my door...the dealer is 70 miles away so I saved a little on fuel. But I think mine may have also had internal damage on the circuit card, it appeared burned as well so I don't know if it was salvagable.
