Hello,

Excellent forum I think. Just bought a 99 SLK230 5 Speed Sport.

1. I saw in one of the posts that someone said this was "rare". How so?

2. Recommendations on oil brands and viscosities?

Manuals are rare in the MB line. The 99 SLK is the first manual MB made for the USA in 6 y...
Manuals are rare in the MB line. The 99 SLK is the first manual MB made for the USA in 6 years(the 1993 190E was the last manual for the US).

Oil I hear 0-40 Mobil 1 is the stuff but I can't find anything in the owner's manual.
