I'm considering getting the film applied to my SLK32. I don't know if it takes away the beauty of the painted surface. Has anyone used these films?
any input would be appreciated.
I spent a lot of time in Denver where stones are used on the
road during the Winter. I noticed that many of the
cars in the Denver showrooms already had the
film applied. Personally, after seeing the film
applied to these cars I decided against it.
...for paint protection against rock chip damage or bug stains!
From a distance of about 12-15 feet, one has to be eagle eyed (better than 20/20)to see it's there! It does not distract from the brilliant silver paint on my 32 and there hasn't been any discoloration so far since I had it installed Oct'02.
I would recommend 3M Invinca-Shield film!
