my 2 cents

1. As said, you may need to lubricate where the top comes together with the top of the windshield.
2. Should be a detent to activate auto down. Try both sides and if it doesn't work, try cars at the dealership. Ask them to show you if it still doesn't work right.
3. I use TDK or other 'name brands' and the work well. I burn at the slowest speed my burner will do. Do a search too, there was a recent thread on this topic.
4. Drive it. That's what they are supposed to do. I just would shift at redline everyday, but 4K IMO isn't excessive.
5. Depends. If it darts back and forth across uneven pavement "tramlining" that's kind of normal. If it just shakes, that's balance/alignment.
