Wow, excellent work - looks very cool and suits the interior nicely like it was there from the start. Windows is the OS? I hope you don't get a blue screen of death while driving.
It works like a Swiss clock lol
Thanks everybody, I appreciate your comments

I am actually not the first one to build an SLK carputer, there is a guy in this forum called ernie I think, he was the first as far as I know, but his approach was different, he placed the LCD on the cup holder and the computer case in the centre of the spare tire. I think my approach gives a more factory look.

I know that keyboard, it is 150$+, very expensive but cool, My motherboard however needs a keyboard hooked for startup, and as you know this is a bluetooth keyboard, so probably it will not work for me unless if I keep the electric circuit of my chunky keyboard hooked in order to fool the system hehe :P
My next step is to find a decent car alarm that has a lot of capabilities, I wish someone could give us more information about the stock SLK230 alarm system or about their experience upgrading it

That's a good question about the oem car alarm. I haven't seen anything on it, but you could start a seperate thread asking about it...

you should fabricate and sell the plastic for the center to cover the screen.... i would definatly buy!! I have the computer know how to set it up but as far as fabricating anything custom thats a no go.
