Yesterday a.m. car would not start--starter motor "dead"--not a sound.

Put battery charger on all day and checked voltage yesterday p.m.--11.5 VDC.

This a.m. car would still not start--but after a few tries starter motor began to "click" when activated but would not turn engine over. Battery reads now 10.5 VDC.

Lights, flashers, fan motor and windshield wipers work--radio and power windows do NOT work.

Electrics suggest fuse; clicking starter motor suggests? Time to call for the flat bed? Any thought on this will be appreciated.

P.S. Recommendations for a good MB shop inside the Atlanta perimeter highway will also be appreciated

Oops

I should have read recent posts before posting mine. My problem is similar to that of "Fileserver," but not identical: My clicking sounds a bit like his ticking, but more metalic. Also, it only happens when I try to activate the starter motor, not in the "run" position. Helpful observations?
