Kenwood & Suede

Well I finally got everything sorted out with the HU install and figured while I was at it I would make the creapy centerconsole I had look better..

heres a before you can kinda see it. The dark wood cover had come off revealing the creapy wood underneath, and the stock HU that didnt work at all.

And now Its not finished I still have to do a few more things to clean it up. But it looks 100x better then it did. Also later on ill be redoing all the red center console, lower dash, headliner, and door panels in black suede.

il be honest... I would have liked it ALOT better with a black suede instead of the read... since the red dosnt exactly match the red on the dash and it just dosnt flow too good imo..

OJ The red on the rest of the dash parts is gonna be black suede. Im not a fan of the black/red stock so I figured I would change it up a bit. Ill post more pics as I finish the black suede..

at the moment im looking for a nav system that could be fiberglassed into that area so I just left it that way cause I never use it. Im not scared of it getting dirty at all. If I cant find a nav system for that area ill just make it back into a cubby hole.

Good Idea, You would have to set something up with the sound on it, the speakers are in the back, so you wont be able to hear much... Find a Tv to put in there lol

ill give you my idea.... its what I have planned .... retrofitting a double-din Nav unit in the dash ... it was a Mod done by Brabus in order to fit the mb "command" back in the day to these cars and to day I still think its the best way to go when doing a custom stereo.... along with the many interior mods I have planned..this is one of them when the car hits Venezuelan territory

a Pioneer Z2 or Z3 will put you up to date with all the goodies (mp3, dvd, bluetooth, ipod adapter, 30gb hard drive, awesome equalizer... awesome looks. you can find a Z2 on ebay for as low as $800 I believe .... and it really is the best unit out there imo.
