Post HID Kit with Projector Headlight Questions

I have been reading this forum in the past few days about HID kit and Projector Headlight for my SLK 320 '03 and people keep talking about Plug and Play HID Kit and I am wondering how. Am i missing something?
Here are my questions.
1) The stock(original) headlight got H7 bulbs. I bought the Projector headlight and it got H1 bulbs. I want to buy MTEC HID because I heard they are the best... no CPU error...... MTEC HID Kit bulbs are H7, I am wondering if they can sell H1 bulbs with H7 harness(connectors)? Can you guys give me some inputs on this? Anyone got any problem buying the wrong bulbs?
2) I am looking in the back of my projector headlights and I see 1 harness(connector) for both the high beam and low beam. Does the HID kit comes with a splitter or something? So high and low beam will be separated out, or do I have to cut some wires to get both high and low beam to work?
3) I am trying to buy something that is just plug and play so I don't have to cut anything. If you guys know some place selling good plug and play HID Kit. Please recommend.

Here is the MTEC R170 HID Kit I am about to buy. eBay Motors: MTEC HID KIT 4 MERCEDES BENZ R170 SLK CLASS '97~'04 (item 360099380225 end time Oct-25-08 18:59:47 PDT)

Thank you

H7 bulbs are for the OEM headlights.
You need H1 bulbs for the projectors.
The ebay pictures don't show the HID bulb connectors, so don't know if you can fit H1 bulbs instead. Send a PM to the vendor.
You don't have to cut any wires. The low beam bulb wires are used to feed 12V supply to the ballasts. The high voltage leads then come from the ballasts to the bulbs. You will have to cut a hole in the back of the low beam cover plate to feed the two sets of wires through.
An approximation of wiring follows.

The small box isn't in the setup - the high voltage lead goes direct to the HID bulb.
The stock harness connection feeds back into the the low beam socket instead of the plug you see on the picture.
I hope that makes sense.

All the hid kits are the same. No one here has ever had cpu problems as you feared. Its your wish if you want to spend 4 times the money though.

Question SLK 320 '03

Sorry, Maybe you understand my question but I still does not understand your answer . Let me go over what I meant with pictures.
http://img373.imageshack.us/img373/8...klightsxn6.jpg
You can see in this picture the high beam and low beam come together as 1 connector, that connector will the connect to my stock(original) connector from the car which is here: http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9...tconneccd4.jpg

Now I want to do MTEC HID Kit for my LOW BEAM only from Ebay:
eBay Motors: MTEC XENON HID KIT 4 MERCEDES R170 SLK200 SLK230 SLK320 (item 380071276442 end time Nov-07-08 19:39:50 PST)

So if the connector from the HID bulbs go to the ballasts, then a connector from the balast to the stock(original) connector from the car. Then where/how do the high beam from that first picture above come into place? How is the high beam going to work if I don't cut any wire? I am still very confused Please give me some advices.

Thanks

Might this picture helps. My HID kit has these wires. Totally different from the preview one.
You need H1 bulbs for the angelyes headlight.

OK, I didn't have the best picture, Hot_Pasta's pic is better, but the setup isn't any different.
The red & black wires plug into the low beam bulb socket where the halogen bulb was (but is no longer used). The HID bulb sits in the projector and is powered from the ballast. You don't change the high beam at all and you don't cut any wires.
If still confused please wait till the weekend and I'll post some pics.
Edit: this might be better - from the manual.
A photo of my wiring won't help - looks like a jumbled mess tied up with cable ties.
