I have a Becker Silverstone 2662 6 disc CD Changer for sale that I purchased for my own SLK and includes mounting brackets. It's easy to fit in the trunk. Asking price $150.00 plus shipping. I can send pictures.
It's in excellent condition with little use and interfaces directly with the SLK optical head unit. It's a direct plug and play to the optical wiring in the trunk behind the rhs panel. It will fit all SLK's 1999 to 2003 and most of the other Mercedes of that era. I fitted it myslef to my own SLK. Becker is the same manufacturer as the OEM units.
Consider that if you want to add a new optical CD changer from Crutchfield.com it will cost you $599.99 ...or even more from Mercedes!
Unfortunatley, I cannot locate the wiring adaptor that interfaces with the OEM loom so that's why I priced it at $150. However I checked and a replacement can be obtained for around $50 from Continental Imports and ordered online at
