So... if you followed my previous post, I had totally gutted my interior to redo the whole thing. My interior was all scratched up, so while we were re-wiring my components, we decided to repaint the whole interior. My seats are black and my plastic pieces are a blueish color. So now, my interior is going to be all gloss black, and I am adding a touch screen DVD player, as well as a 10" monitor above the center console. I will keep adding pics as the work progresses. So if you've ever wanted to know what a gutted interior looks like on an SLK, check these out! I'd like to hear your comments!
Looks amazing!! Where can I buy one? From the looks of it, I would be amazed you could even get it back together again. Not to piss on your parade. I'm sure it will really look good...eventually
It will look good. Hopefully. I am beginning to think I may be missing some screws when I am done though! JK. I'll be finishing it up tomorrow though, and soon pics to come!
Thanks slk320inAZ! I have a great staff where I work, they used to work at the now defunct Unique Performance up here in Dallas. So they've built custom interiors before! I owe it all to them, really!
