You didnt ask for opinion, you said that you have hard time to believe me that M90 will bring no gain. Let me citate your words: "But I find it hard to believe you wouldn't see any gains compared to the lower output M62 driven equally" End of citat.

And that statement is different then question. So do not turn your words when you see that you loose arguments.

M90 is (in terms of free space under 230k hood) A LOT bigger than M62. And until wright NOW you never before mention that you have in mind 3rd (and not 2nd) generation of M90, so before YOU attack ME, do your own homework and next time write down specificaly that you dont have in mind 2nd generation of M90 like we all others think (which is from the time of M62 which is in the M111).

Btw. i own a car with M90 so beleave me i know a lenghth of each generation of M90.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion I created by not specifying a third generation my bad. Now that we are on the same page I appreciate the knowledge that dual pulley's make a better upgrade than the compressor swap. (I still want to believe the M90 gen 3 would make a big difference. has anyone researched that?) My goal is to create 275-300 HP from this engine. It sounds as if you have come close to those figures with mostly external mods congratulations, I have learned a lot in a short time on this forum

BTW I own a car with a GMC671 roots type blower and would never try to put in in a m111. That might be cute on the slk with a snorkel hood scoop!
